to
define
rectangles

the

HomePatrol

will
use

Circle
or
Rectangles,
ed.
Unit
IDs
identify
the
specific
radio
currently
transmitting
on
the
channel.
You
can
program
Unit
IDs
into
the
HomePatrol
‐
1
so
that
it
will
display
user
information
during
scanning.
You
will
also
need
to
turn
on
the
Unit
ID
Display
option
(MENU
Display
Options).
From
the
System
menu,
select
Edit
Unit
IDs.

IDs
Select
Create
a
New
Unit
ID.
Assign
an
alpha
tag
to
the
ID,
then
tap
Next.
When
you
accept
the
setting,
you
are
returned
to
the
location
selection
screen
