Setting the Time

The clock on the EXA3955 answering system starts when power is applied
to the base. Follow these steps to set the clock to the correct time.

Press twice.
The system announces the current time. The message
counter displays [

to select the day of the week.

You hear the current day and the number ([

through [

]) is displayed on the base.

Press

until the correct day is announced

and the corresponding number is displayed.

to select the day.

until you hear the correct hour

• Normally the idle time

20 seconds before the
system returns to
standby. However for
setting the time, the
idle time is extended to
two minutes.
