Registering to a Base
Any range extenders that came packaged with a
base are already registered to that base for you.
Connect one end of the
power adapter to the
range extender and the
other end to a 120 Vac
(standard indoor) power
outlet.
Put the base into
registration mode (see
page XX).
On the back of the range
extender, press and
hold the registration
button until the
Link
light starts to blink
(about 2 seconds).
Release the button and wait for the
Link
light to turn on
and steady (this can take about 90 seconds).
If...
Try...
the
Link
light
doesn't turn on
at all
checking the range extender's AC adapter
connecting the adapter to a different outlet.

the
Link
light
continues
flashing
disconnecting the unit's AC adapter. Wait
about ten seconds, then try again.
making sure there are not already 2 range
extenders registered to this base.
making sure no other base or range extender
is in registration mode.
