Only one handset at a time can control these submenus.
Menu Option
What it does
PLAY
Listen to the messages on your answering machine
from a handset (see page 24).
DELETE ALL
Delete all of old messages on your answering
machine from a handset (see page 24).
ANSWER
ON/OFF
Turn your answering machine on or off from a
handset. (see page 22).
RECORD OGM
Record or delete your personal outgoing message
(see page 22).
ANSWER MODE
The caller can leave a message when
ANSWER & REC
is selected. Choose
ANSWER ONLY
if you don’t want
the machine to let the caller to leave a message (see
page 22).
SETTINGS
This menu controls the options and settings for your
answering machine (see page 23).
Entering Text on Your Phone
Use the 12-key dial pad when you want to enter text into your phone
(i. e., a name in the phonebook, the handset banner).

The phone enters the letters in the order they appear on the key. For
example, if you press the number key

once, the phone enters the

If two letters in a row use the same number key, enter the first letter
and wait a few seconds (or press
CID/RIGHT
); the cursor will move to
the next space. Enter the next letter.
