8.5 Troubleshooting
If the operating results are not satisfactory, check the
following points before systematic checks and before no-
tifying the service center:
Test the warning signal. x
Check the contactor(s). x
Checking the frame leakage (insula-
tion test) x
Check function and mechanical
wear of the accelerator pedal. x
Check the electrical system of the
drive motor. x
Brake system: Check brake power,
replace brake disc if necessary or
adjust air gap. x
Battery
Check battery voltage x
Clean and grease the clamps and
check for corrosion and damage. x
Check the battery housing for da-
mage. x
Charger
Check the main power cable for da-
mage. x
Check the start-up protection during
the charging process. x
Functionality
Check the horn function. x
Check air gap of electromagnetic
brake x
Emergency braking test x
Check reverse gear and regenera-
tive braking. x
Check safety button function x
Check steering function x
Check the lifting and lowering func-
tion. x
Check function of drawbar switch x
General information
Check that all stickers are legible
and complete. x
Check rollers, adjust or replace
height x
Perform a test run x
