Hardware Precautions / Maintenance
Do not disassemble, tamper or attempt to repair the tracker, components or accessories. Doing
so voids your warranty.
Always power OFF the tracker before loading or removing its battery or SIM Card.
Do not drop, hit or otherwise abuse the tracker, components or accessories. This may damage
the precision components of the tracker.
Make sure all connections to the tracker are plugged in properly into the correct locations only.
When disconnecting any plugs from the tracker or wall outlet, first turn the tracker OFF. Then
carefully pull by the plug itself rather than by the cord. Do not step on, sharply pull or bend any
wires or cables. Do not expose the tracker, components or accessories to extreme heat or cold.
Do not expose the tracker to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
Connect ONLY accessories designed and licensed for use with the tracker to any external
connectors.
Do not spill liquid on the tracker, other components or accessories. If the tracker comes into
contact with liquid, wipe clean with a soft cloth (
slightly damp
). Remove the battery cover and
battery.
If liquid comes into contact with the battery, do not reuse it.
