Use the remote contro ll er within a distance of 8
meters from the app l iance, pointing it towards the
receiver . Reception is con fi rmed by a beep .
The remote contro ll er can be attached to a wa ll or pi ll ar
by using a remote contro ll er ho l der ( not supp l ied,
purchased separate l y ).
Before insta ll ing the remote contro ll er, chec k that the
air conditioner receives the signa l s proper l y .
I nsta ll the remote contro ll er with two screws .
For insta ll ing or removing the remote contro ll er, move
it up or down in the ho l der .

CAUTIONS
The air conditioner wi ll not operate if curtains,
doors or other materia l s b l oc k the signa l s from
the remote contro ll er to the indoor unit .
Prevent any l i q uid from fa ll ing into the remote
contro ll er . Do not e x pose the remote contro ll er
to direct sun l ight or heat .
I f the infrared signa l receiver on the indoor unit
is e x posed to direct sun l ight, the air conditioner
may not function proper l y . Use curtains to
prevent the sun l ight from fa ll ing on the receiver .
I f other e l ectrica l app l iances react to the remote
contro ll er, either move these app l iances or
consu l t your l oca l dea l er .
Do not drop the remote contro ll er . Hand l e with care .
Do not p l ace heavy ob j ects on the remote contro ll er,
or step on it .
