4.2. Distribution dose control
The control test is recommended for every change of the type of the distributed fertiliser.
The distribution test (the so-called calibration test) is performed with the PTO in motion,
during the travel over a measured road distance or stationary. Tests performed on a
measurement distance are more precise as they reflect the real working conditions. The
performed measurements make it possible to determine the fertiliser distributor settings in
order to achieve the required fertiliser distribution dose.
The following actions have to be taken in order to perform distribution tests
:
−
Loosen the clamping screw 2 and remove the distribution disc 1.
−
Fix the discharge chute 3 to the gear with bolt 4.
−
Screw in the clamping screw 2 into the gear shaft hole (to prevent the threaded hole
from being covered with fertiliser).
−
Hang the control container 5 (bucket) on hook 6. (Continued in sections 4.2.1. or
4.2.2.)
4.2.1. Distribution control over a particular road distance
•
Put the distribution slot opening adjustment lever in a position corresponding to the
relevant distribution dose, working width of the fertiliser distributor, working speed and
fertiliser type (see the table for setting the width and distribution amount on pp. 45
–58).
The slot of the second chamber must remain closed.
•
Set the measurement distance of the length resulting from the working width of the fertiliser
distributor
– p. 20.
•
Travel over the set distance while keeping constant working speed of the unit.
•
The slot should be opened and closed from the cabin at the beginning and at the end of
the set distance.
•
Weigh the amount of fertiliser in the container.
