04. Miscellaneous
Navigation instructions differ from current road conditions.
This may be caused by changes in road conditions (e.g. construction) or during lane changes.
Download the latest map update as the existing map data may be outdated.

Navigation voice guidance does not mute or interrupt the radio.
Unavi system by default plays all navigation prompts and touch command tones through the external speaker (usually
located behind the dash) or by simply switching to the AUX mode, which can be engaged by hitting the ‘Mode/Source’
button on the steering wheel control or by pressing AUX on the radio display; on certain models equipped with hard
keys, AUX mode can be accessed there as well.
Additional accessories are available to allow navigation voice guidance to interrupt the radio on some vehicle models

System freezes or locks up intermittently.
Using SD Cards other than the original product may not be compatible with the Unavi system.
Reboot the system using the Reset button located on the control box.
Make sure the control box is secured and cables are connected properly. Also check for pinched wires.
Check if required map files are not missing or damaged by loading it from a computer.
If above steps do not work, re-install program and/or reload map files.

Black (blank) screen is displayed.
Reboot the system using the Reset button located on the control box.
Make sure main power cables are not loose, and check for any blown fuse(s) in the vehicle’s fuse box.
If above steps do not work, contact your dealer or the nearest authorized Unavi service facility.

Screen is too bright or very dim.
Check the LCD brightness settings; Refer to section 2-7 under “Brightness Options”

Rear-view camera does not appear on screen.
It is recommended to put the gear in reverse after system is fully booted.
Check all necessary connections and wiring, and check for any blown fuse(s).
If above steps do not work, contact your dealer or the nearest authorized Unavi service facility.
