04. Miscellaneous
If you experience problems with your Unavi system, please refer to this section. The most common problems are listed below,
along with likely causes and solutions. If a solution to your problem cannot be found here, contact your dealer or the nearest
authorized Unavi service facility.
Touchscreen is not responding when keys are pressed.
Check to see if the LCD screen is not being tightly squeezed by the bezel or housing cover.
Light pressure is needed. Touchscreen will respond better using the finger tip instead of fingernails.
Reboot the system using the Reset button located on the control box.
TDifferent key responds when touch panel buttons are pressed.
Using the finger pad may cover the entire touch area, making it hard to see the button being hit.
If pressure is not carefully applied in the right spot, it will trigger the wrong action.
Perform touchscreen calibration (Main Menu > Settings > Touch Sensitivity > Calibrate).
No sounds are produced from Unavi system.
Make sure the MUTE feature is turned off.
Make sure the volume is raised above 0.
Make sure radio is not in AUX mode.
Check to see if cables are connected properly.
If voice guidance does not come on, check appropriate settings in the navigation menu.
MP3 song cuts off while playing.
An error may have occurred while creating the MP3 file. Make sure file is not corrupt by loading it from a computer.
Distorted or skewed image on the screen.
Reboot the system using the Reset button located on the control box.
Operating system may have corrupted. Perform system update (Main Menu > Settings > System Update > Update); Refer to section 3-3.
Distorted images in the map screen indicate corrupt map files. If problem persists, reload the map file in the SD Card.
