Some characters are not being sent.
Because Baudot code does not support special characters, it does not
recognize some of the “shift” characters on the top row of a TTY
keyboard (
example: @ # $ % ^ & * _ < > ). To type these
characters (such as in an email address) make sure your call is
connected in Turbo Code (see
About Turbo Code
®
on page 16).
T he display is blank and the EZcom Pro has pow er (batteries
installed and AC adapter is plugged in).
The EZ com Pro automatically turns off to save battery power. Press
the or key to turn on the TTY.
Also, even though the display screen is blank, you will not miss
calls. The EZ
com Pro automatically turns on when it detects an
incoming call.
Resetting the EZcom Pro
Resetting the EZ com Pro erases the memory and returns all settings
to their defaults. To reset the EZ com Pro, do the following:
IMPORTANT!
Resetting the EZ com Pro erases the entire EZ com Pro
conversation memory, telephone directory, Relay number, and resets
the greeting message. Erased items can not be retrieved.
1.
Press the key to turn on the EZ com Pro.
2.
Hold down both keys and then press the key.
The EZ com Pro asks you if you are sure that you want to reset
the memory.
3.
Press the key to reset the EZ com Pro. You will see
RESET
on
the display screen.
Or, press the
key if you decide not to reset the EZ com Pro.
