Aside from changing the batteries, the Compact/C has no user-
serviceable parts. Any repair work should be done by a qualified
service technician.
Protect your Compact/C from dust, dirt and spills. Use a damp
cloth to clean the plastic case. Never use liquid or aerosol cleaners
on the Compact/C.

Troubleshooting
The Compact/C turns off after a few minutes on hold.
This is a feature to protect your battery charge if you accidentally
leave the Compact/C on. To avoid having the Compact/C turn off
by itself while you are on hold, occasionally press a key or the
13 for more information about improving reception.
The Compact/C /C performs erratically.
The batteries may be low. Plug in the AC adapter. (Be sure that
rechargeable NiCad batteries are being used.)
