3. Installation
Article SAN-0087-1, SAN-0087-2 and SAN-0087-2-XXL are delivered with a rope around the circumference of the base part.
Patient rest:
To attach the patient rest onto the basket stretcher, please use the Velcro straps on the bottom of the base
part and the rear of the patient rest.
Footrest:
Please use the clamping hooks in the recesses of the base part to attach the provided footrest (Refer to Image1).
For SAN-0087-1-M please use the carbines to attach the footrest on the rungs of the metal frame.
Patient restraint straps:
The delivery scope of all basket stretchers includes 3 patient restraint straps (SAN-0087-2-XXL includes 4 pcs.).
The patient restraint straps for the models
SAN 0087-1, SAN-0087-2 and SAN-0087-2-XXL
are attached to the
circumferential rope (refer to image 1, 2a / 2b). In model
SAN-0087-1-M
, the metal bars in the circumferential
metal frame are used for this purpose.
Lifting bridle:
Models SAN-0087-1, SAN-0087-2 and SAN-0087-2-XXL: To attach the lifting bridle please use metal lops in the
base part of the basket stretcher (refer to Image 1) (4 pcs. - model SAN-0087-1 and SAN-0087-2; 6 pcs in SAN-
0087-2-XXL). In SAN-0087-1-M, the lifting bridle can be attached to the metal frame.
3.1. Assembling or dismantling the two-piece basket stretcher
This section only applies for models SAN-0087-2 and SAN-0087-2- XXL.
1. Firmly push both parts of the basket stretcher together. The metal pins (guide pins) in the head support should disappear completely in
the designated openings of the foot support. Ensure that no foreign objects (straps, pebbles, etc.) remain jammed between the head and
the foot support.
2. Close the central lock all the way to the stop using the provided Allen key (refer to Image 3). The Allen key is stored in an integrated bag in
the patient restraint strap.
3. Lock the two external quick-locking devices (refer to Image 4).
Note!
The quick-locking device can be adjusted, but is already set to the factory default setting. Ensure that the lock is closed but that
the
base part is not subjected to additional traction
.
The basket stretcher is dismantled in reverse order.
