CONNECTIONS

LOCATION OF CONTROLS

Front Panel

POWER

Turns the VCR on or off. If you have programmed
your VCR to record, turn off the VCR.

EJECT

Ejects a tape.

REC SPEED SP/EP

Changes the recording speed.
(SP is standard play; EP is extended play.)

Cassette slot

Insert the video cassette tape here.

Front panel display

See next section.

Remote control sensor

Receives signals from a remote control. If using a
remote control, do not block this sensor.

CHANNEL

Changes channels.
Adjusts tracking and picture vibration.

REW

Rewinds a tape or reverse searches.

PLAY

Plays a tape.
Resumes normal playback from special effects.

FF

Fast forwards a tape or fast forward searches.

STOP

Stops a tape.

PAUSE/

START TIME

Pauses a tape when recording.
Freezes a frame when playing a tape.
Sets the start time in OTR

Sets the recording time for OTR by pressing
