Tap the
Back
button twice to get back to the settings main menu. Scroll down and tap
SD Card & Device
Storage.
Under the
SD Card
heading check that the SD Card is mounted, if the text says
Unmount SD Card
then you can exit to the home screen, if the text says
Mount SD Card
then tap it to ‘mount’ the SD Card.
Note: If you do not have a memory card inserted then these fields will be greyed out, you can exit to the
home screen.
After completing these steps you can insert the USB cable into a USB slot on your PC and the other end
into your device. Once the cable is connected, drag down the
Status Bar
and you will see the
USB
Connected
notification, underneath it says “
Select to copy files to/from PC
”, tap this option.
On the next screen tap the
Turn On USB Storage
button at the bottom. If any confirmation windows pop-up
you can just tap
Ok
. To turn if off just tap the
Turn Off USB Storage
button.
NEVER REMOVE THE CABLE FROM THE PC OR THE DEVICE BEFORE TURNING OFF THE USB STORAGE
