1. Batteries are not covered under warranty because they are considered wear and tear parts.
2. Battery boxes are charged prior to shipment.
3. Battery boxes that are stored for a prolonged period of time must be fully recharged every 2-3
months.
4. When the battery is approaching full discharge you will hear an audible warning signal.
5. If this warning signal is ignored and the battery is not immediately recharged, it will eventually
become completely discharged and possibly defective.
6. Please take into account the operating temperature and charging time of approx. 15-20hrs.
7. The battery box is fully charged when only the green light is on during charging.
Charging has not yet been completed if both the orange and green lights are on.
8. Caution: this device may only be operated on battery power. Using this device while the batteries
are charging is strictly prohibited.
Discharge Time: 4 months without being used will render the battery defective. At this point the battery
should no longer be used or stored.
After 15 hours of charging, the battery will be completely full. Overcharging the battery is automatically
prevented by an integrated overload protection mechanism. This mechanism is subject to wear and tear,
and must be routinely replaced every three years.

6. Instructions for Cleaning and Disinfection
All surfaces should be regularly cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap.
WARNING: Clean all electrical components with a dry cloth. This chair is not suitable for use with
automatic cleaning systems such as “jet-stream”.
For the disinfection of this surgical chair, we recommend the disinfectant “Meliseptol” by B. Braun,
Melsungen. After disinfecting the chair, make sure that you allow sufficient time for it to completely dry
before covering. This will prevent undesired interactions with the chair’s upholstery. Use other disinfectants
at your own risk. The use of aggressive cleaning agents such as peroxides should always be avoided, as
they could cause irreversible damage to the chair’s upholstery.
