Issue Possible cause Solution
The appliance
insufficiently
dehumidifies
the air.
The appliance had too little time to reduce
humidity in the room.
Allow sufficient time for the appliance to
dehumidify the room to the required level.
On first use, the appliance must operate
continuously for at least 24 hours, in order
to obtain the desired level of air humidity.
The set humidity level is insufficient. In order to achieve better air dehumidification
results, set a lower humidity level in
percent (%) or select a continuous mode
that provides maximum dehumidification
performance.
Airflow is limited. Remove the curtains, furniture or other items
obstructing the air inlet or outlet grilles.
Doors and windows were not tightly closed. Close all doors, windows and other
openings in the room.
A dirty air filter. Clean the air filter.
The room temperature is too low. Operating temperature range: 5-35°C.
Other appliance, for example tumble dryer
blows humid air into the room.
Place the dehumidifier away from the
appliances the blow humid air in.
Water flows onto
the floor.
When draining the condensate using the
water tank, a drain tube is connected.
Disconnect the condensate drain tube and
insert the plug into the drain opening.
Drain tube connection is not tight. Check the drain tube connection to the
drain opening for leaks.
Frost appear on
the coils.
This is normal. See: AUTOMATIC DEFROST FUNCTION .
The dehumidifier
makes loud
sounds during
operation.
Air filter is clogged. Clean the air filter.
The dehumidifier is tilted or not in an
upright position.
Place the dehumidifier in a vertical position.
The surface on which the dehumidifier is
placed is not level.
Place the dehumidifier on a stable, level
surface.
Power on indicator
flashes 5 times
per second.
Temperature sensor error or humidity
sensor error.
Disconnect the appliance from the power
outlet. Then reconnect it to the power
outlet. If the problem persists, contact
a professional service centre.
