IMPORTANT NOTES
• Read these instructions carefully before
using the appliance for the first time.
Safeguard them for future reference.
• Only connect it to the voltages stated
on the characteristics plate.
• This appliance is suitable for use with
foodstuffs.

exclusively for domestic use.
• Do not handle the appliance with wet

• Avoid contact with the moving parts
• The edge of the blade is very sharp.
To avoid injuries handle the blades with
extreme care when cleaning them.
• Never insert metal utensils, such as
knives or forks, into the inside of the jug
while the appliance is operating.
• The use of accessories not supplied by
the manufacturer may cause accidents.
• Do not operate the appliance without a
workload.
• Do not leave the appliance close to
heat sources nor allow the cable to come
into contact with hot surfaces.
• Do not operate the appliance with the
cable still coiled.
• Never try to fit or remove the jug on
the blander while the appliance is still
running.
• Do not leave the appliance operating
unattended, especially with children
about.
• This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.

ensure that they do not play with the

ASSEMBLY
Before its first use, use soapy water to
wash all the pieces which are going to
come into contact with foodstuffs.
1. Fitting the blades: Check that the seal
is fitted correctly. Place the blade cone
onto the base of the jug and turn it in a
clockwise direction to lock it (fig. 1). The
pictures on the cone show you which
way to turn it:

2. Fitting the jug: Place the jug onto the
motor housing, seating the lugs on the
blade cone into the holes on the motor
spindle. Turn the jug in an antitclockwise
direction so that the holding lugs on the
jug lock into their slots, leaving the jug
securely attached (fig. 2).
3. Fitting the lid: Line up the lugs on the
mouth of the jug with the holes on the lid
(fig. 3) and rotate the lid gently until the
lugs are fully home.
