DSD 700

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

IRD, VCR , TV, Hi-Fi

NOTE:

It is recommended that you switch off the mains

supply to the IRD before connecting or

disconnecting the LNB connector.

Connect the terrestrial antenna connector to the RF IN socket
on the DSD.

Follow Steps 2 to 4 if you are not using SCART connectors.

Using the supplied flylead, connect the RF OUT connector on
the IRD to the RF IN connector on the VCR.

Using the flylead supplied with the VCR, connect RF OUT on
the VCR to RF IN on the TV

Connect the coaxial cable from the satellite dish to the LNB IN
connector on the DSD. Tighten the connector finger tight.

Follow steps 5 and 6 if you are using SCART connections

Using a SCART-to-SCART (or SCART to RCA) cable, connect
the TV SCART connector on the IRD to the SCART (or RCA)

socket on the TV.

Using a second SCART cable, connect the VCR SCART on
the DSD to the SCART on the VCR.

Connect the FIXED STEREO AUDIO OUT connectors on the

DSD to the AUDIO INPUT connectors on the Hi-Fi.

NOTE:

If you want to control the volume level from the

RCU, use the variable stereo AUDIO outputs.
