Charger safety instructions
Always disconnect the plug after use and before carrying
out any care work.
The charger must not be used by:
People whose physical, sensory or mental capacity
or inexperience or lack of knowledge make them
unable to operate the charger safely.
Children without supervision or proper instruction by
a responsible person.
Use the charger indoors only.
Only charge the battery while it is under
supervision.
Connect the charger to a suitable power supply
only.
Protect the charger from wet conditions. Never
clean or spray the charger with liquids.
Before charging, always place the charger on non-

Before each use, check the charger, mains cable
and mains battery. Damaged chargers, cables and
plugs increase the risk of an electric shock.

Charge original batteries only. Never try to charge
other batteries with this charger.
If necessary, label the charger to avoid mix-ups with
chargers of other manufacturers.

Protect your health
Fumes or liquid can leak if the battery is damaged or not
used properly.
The fumes can cause respiratory irritation.
Supply fresh air and consult a doctor immediately if you

Avoid contact with the battery liquid
If the liquid gets in the eyes, rinse them thoroughly with
water. Consult a doctor immediately.
Skin irritations can occur. Wash the skin thoroughly with
soap. Take off contaminated clothing immediately. Seek
medical help immediately if skin irritation occurs.
Disposing of the battery
Dispose of components, accessories and packagings
properly so that they can be recycled or recovered in an
environmentally compatible way. Never throw batteries or
electrical components in the household or residual waste.
According to European Directive 2012/19/EU, electrical
equipment that can no longer be used, and according
to European Directive 2006/66/EC, defective or used
rechargeable batteries / batteries must be collected
separately and recycled or recovered for environmentally
friendly reuse.
Please hand in no longer usable batteries at a
suitable collection point. Ask you specialist dealer.
