Rechargeable battery use instructions
General information on the rechargeable battery
H6FRRWHU
is equipped with a high-quality rechargeable
lithium-ion battery (li-ion battery). Lithium-ion batteries
are safe if handled properly and as intended. However,
lithium-ion batteries have a very high energy density. These
batteries must therefore be handled with care and attention.
Always follow the instructions below for reliable operation
and a long life:
Rechargeable battery use instructions
Protect your children. Keep the battery out of reach
of small children to prevent them from handling it.
Point out the hazards clearly to older children.
Do not charge the battery if you suspect it is
damaged.
Do not use the rechargeable battery if you become
aware of unusual heat, odour or discolouration
and/or the battery is obviously damaged. Use the
installed battery solely for the original drive system.
Charge the battery only with the original charger
and only under supervision.
Protect the battery from wet conditions. Never clean
or spray the housing surrounding the battery with
liquids. This increases the risk of a short-circuit.
While the battery is charging, protect it from other
heat sources, e.g. direct sunlight, radiators.
Never open, dismantle drill through or deform the
battery. Contact your specialist dealer if you suspect
that the battery is damaged.
Do not touch damaged batteries with bear hands.
Lithium can cause severe skin burns.
We recommend fully charging the battery after each lengthy
trip. Partial charging does not damage the battery, it has no
memory effect.
Charge an empty battery immediately. Irreparable
damage can occur due to technically related self-
discharge.
Never expose the battery to extreme temperatures.
Note the technical data of your drive system.
Temperatures below 10 °C can cause reduced
battery output in operation.
If you take proper care of your battery, you can
charge up to 500 complete cycles before a
technically related power loss occurs.
Note
If the charging takes excessively long, disconnect the
battery from the charger and contact your specialist
dealer.
The duration of the battery charging depends on the
following factors:
Charged state of the battery.
Temperature of the battery and the surroundings.
If the battery is empty, it takes approx. 4 hours to
fully charge it.
Charging the battery and storage
If you do not use the battery for a lengthy time, please store
it as follows:
Never store an empty battery. Self-discharging can
cause irreparable damage. Charge the battery to
60% to 80% of the capacity.
Store the battery installed in the e-Scooter in a
place that is as dry and well-ventilated as possible.
Protect it from moisture, water and direct sunlight.
Store in battery installed in the e-Scooter at around
10 to 15 °C. Ensure good ventilation in the storage
place.
If stored for longer than 3 months, recharge the
battery every three to six months, depending on the
storage conditions. Recharge the battery to around
60 to 80 % of its capacity.
After charging, always disconnect the charger from
the battery and unplug the mains plug from the
socket.
Caution
