Web Point of Care Overview
The TytoCare Point of Care (POC) application enables a patient or a clinician caring for a patient at
the point of care (for example, a nurse at a clinic) to participate in an online visit with a remote
clinician (and potentially, additional guests) and communicate examination data.
When is it used?
Relevant scenarios include:

Professional user without a Tyto Device
: A clinician (e.g., nurse or health care worker) at a
point of care (e.g., a clinic),
without
a Tyto Device, who needs to conduct a online visit (video
conference) with a remote clinician.
l
Home user without a Tyto Device
: A patient at home
without
a Tyto Device, who needs to
conduct a online visit (video conference) with a remote clinician.
l
Professional user with a TytoPro Device
: A TytoPro user (e.g., nurse) at a clinic, who needs to
conduct an online visit with a remote clinician and to perform exams on a patient using the
TytoPro Device.
l
Home user with a TytoHome Device
: A TytoHome user (patient) at a home, who needs to
conduct an online visit with a remote clinician and to perform exams on themselves or a family
member using the TytoHome Device.
What is a Tyto Device?
The
Tyto Device
is a user-friendly electronic device that enables you to perform examinations, and
to optionally transmit the sound, video or image data to a medical professional in another
location.
