3.3 Replacing the System Fan

Follow these instructions to replace the system fan.

1.

Disconnect the fan cables from the mainboard. Unscrew the Fan Bracket to lift
it up.

2.

Use a screwdriver to loosen four screws on the Fan Bracket.

3.

Loosen four screw on the back of the fan module. Place the Fan Guard on a

new fan and secure it properly with four screws.

4.

Follow the procedures described earlier in reverse order to reinstall the fan

and Fan Bracket.
