2.2.3 Installing the Outer Rails to the Rack

NOTE

:

Before mounting the TYAN GX38-B5550 in a rack, ensure that all internal

components have been installed and that the unit has been fully tested. However, to
make the installation easier, we suggest that you remove all HDD trays before you
insert the chassis to the rack.

1.

Attach the outer rails to the rack. Please note that the square stud must be fully

attached inside the square hole on the rack rail.
