2.1   Installing Motherboard Components 

 

This section describes how to install components on to the mainboard, including 
CPUs, memory modules and add-on cards. 
 

Warning!!! 
Always install the hard disk drive to the chassis after the chassis is secured on 
the rack.

2.1.1   Installing the DVD-ROM Drive (Optional) 

 

Follow these instructions to install a DVD-ROM drive. 

 

1. 

Push the ultra-slim DVD-ROM drive holder out.   

 

 

2. 

Prepare a DVD-ROM bracket and two DVD screws to secure the bracket 
to the rear of the DVD-ROM drive.
