2.6 - Installing the Processor and Cooling Fan

Your Tiger i7322 S2692 supports the latest processor technologies from Intel.
Check the TYAN website for latest processor support:

http://www.tyan.com

Processor Installation

The processor should be installed carefully. Make sure you are wearing an
antistatic strap and handle the processor as little as possible.
Follow these instructions to install your processor and heat sink.

1.

Locate the processor sockets on the motherboard and lift the locking lever
as shown.

2.

Insert the processor into the socket making sure that pin 1 is correctly
located.

3.

Return the locking lever to its locked position.

4.

Repeat this procedure for the second processor socket.

5.

Turn the board upside down and insert the heat sink spring mechanism
as shown.
