Quick Guide
1) Remove Old Thermostat
o
Turn off power to the air handler at the power switch located by the unit or at the breaker panel.
Also turn off the power to the condenser unit at the breaker panel.
Caution:
To prevent electrical shock and/or equipment damage, disconnect electric power to system
at main fuse or circuit breaker box until installation is complete.

Remove cover from old thermostat to expose wires.
o
Identify each wire to corresponding terminal and disconnect.
o
Remove old thermostat from wall, making sure that thermostat wires do not fall back into wall
opening.
2) Wire and Mount iThermostat
o
Feed thermostat wires through iThermostat hole.
o
Wire iThermostat.
o
Set iThermostat switches.
o
Engage batteries.
o
Turn on power at breaker.
