Infra-Red Remote Control
Introduction
By now you should have the unit powered up and working with
your computer and TV. If you don't get an image on your TV,
please refer to the Troubleshooting section at the back of this
manual.
This unit has been designed for ease of use, an d you sh ould find
most of the controls simple to understand and apply.
For external version...
If at any time you find that the optional remote control or
front-panel buttons are not working, then you may have
inadvertently pressed the LOCK button on the remote control.
Lock mode is indicated by the green power button on the unit
flashing - see later for a description of how to turn this feature
on and off.
For internal PCI/ISA version...
The Infra-Red Remote Control is not supplied as standar d. If
you have purchased the Infra-Red Receiver Module, its cable can
plug into the internal card's 5-pin mini-DIN (RS232) connector.
You can t hen use the corr ect remote control (optiona l) by aimin g
it at the Infra-Red Receiver Module, to control the internal card.
In any case, this section contains information detailin g each
function of the unit, and will th erefore be needed even if you use
RS232 control.
What this section covers
All the infra-red remote control features of the Eclipse.
It explains the setup and adjustments for the unit and what effect they have on the
final image.
How to store the settings so they are remembered by the unit for next time.
Therefore the following is required reading!
