8.2 Adjusting pressure relief valve O2: steering sensitivity
The pressure relief valve O2 is necessary when the autosteer system is activated. As already
said this pressure relief valve has to be set as low as possible. For this follow this procedure:
1.
Turn on the electrics.
2.
Turn on the engine of the tractor. Set engine RPM same as when harvesting sods.
Usually somewhere between 1100-1500 RPM.
3.
Lower Turftick completely on the ground to simulate the same loads as when driving.
4.
Activate the Autosteer-system.
5.
Adjust the pressure relief valve as low as possible (by turning the tuning bolt of the
relief-valve counterclockwise): so that there is just enough steering pressure to turn the
steering-wheels.
6.
Move Autosteer swingarm from left to right. Look how the wheels are reacting.
7.
Lower pressure for relief valve O2 until the wheels start reacting. Steering should be
smooth and gentle.
8.
Keep in mind steering while driving has less friction than when standing still. It is
better to have the pressure relief valve O2 set on the lower side.
9.
Fasten contra nut.
O2 relief valve: lower pressure as low as possible, this adjusts steering
sensitivity
