7 Operating Instructions
7.1 General

In case of a safety application, register the devices under
www.turck.de/SIL

Only trained and qualified personnel must mount, install, operate and maintain the devices.

The devices are not specified for a certain application. Make sure that application-specific
aspects are considered.

Replace the devices before the expiration of the permissible duration of use (see
“6.3 Safety
Characteristic Data” on p. 9
).

Execute a functional test every twelve months.
➤ ➤
The devices must not be repaired. If problems occur with regard to functional safety, notify
Turck immediately and return the devices immediately to:
