Therefore, you should never rely solely on any wireless mobile device for essential
communications (medical emergencies, for example). Before traveling in remote or
underdeveloped areas, plan an alternate method of contacting emergency services
personnel. Remember, to make or receive any calls, the mobile device must be turned
on and in a service area with adequate signal strength.
Emergency calls may not be possible on all wireless mobile device networks or when
certain network services and/or mobile device features are in use. Check with location
service providers. If certain features are in use (call blocking, for example), you may
first need to deactivate those features before you can make an emergency call. Consult
your User Manual and your local cellular service provider. When making an
emergency call, remember to give all the necessary information as accurately as
possible. Remember that your mobile device may be the
only means of communication at the scene of an accident; do not cut off the call until
given permission to do so.

Your Sentry Smartphone is a high quality piece of equipment. Before operating, read
all instructions and cautionary markings in this guide.
Failure to follow the directions below could result in serious bodily injury and/or
property damage due to battery liquid leakage, fire or rupture.
• Do not disassemble or open crush, bend or deform, puncture or shred.
• Do not modify or remanufacture, attempt to insert foreign objects into the
battery, immerse or expose to water or other liquids, expose to fire, explosion or
other hazard.
• DO NOT abuse the equipment. Avoid striking, shaking or shocking. Rough
treatment may damage the product. When not using, lay down the unit to avoid
possible damage due to instability.
• Only use the battery with a charging system that has been qualified with the
system per CTIA Certification Requirements for Battery System Compliance to
IEEE 1725. Use of an unqualified battery or
charger may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
• Do not short circuit a battery or allow metallic conductive objects to contact
battery terminals.
• Battery usage by children should be supervised.
• Replace the battery only with another battery that has been qualified with the
system per this standard, IEEE-Std-1725. Use of an unqualified battery may
present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage or other hazard.
o Only authorized service providers shall replace battery.
