Blade Maintenance H:
●
Warning! Switch the machine off; remove the isolator key, battery and grass box before adjusting or
cleaning the machine.

Always wear gardening gloves when handling or working near the sharp blades.
Turn the machine on its right side and inspect the blade; if blunt or damaged, replace immediately
Use the following procedure to remove and replace the blade:
Hold the blade 20 using gardening gloves (not provided) and use a screwdriver (not provided) to remove the
blade bolt 22, blade connector 21 and blade 20.
Fit the blade 20, blade washer 22 and the blade bolt 23. Ensure that the blade is the correct direction facing
upward and then tighten the bolt 23 firmly. Ensure the screwdriver is removed before attempting to turn the
machine on.

Do not lubricate blade or blade bolt during refitting.
Cutting the Grass/Safety Switch I:
The product is equipped with a protective overload system when mowing
that protects the motor.
A safety switch will activate when the blade is jammed, clogged or the
motor is overloaded. Immediately turn off the machine when this happens.
The safety switch will only reset when you release the handle.
Remove all obstacles, and wait one minute, then restart your machine. The
safety switch will automatically reset.
Always check your mowing path prior to starting the machine and clear any
debris.
