is adjusted to zero.
Faults found in connection with cleaning are written down. The spare parts are ordered in good time
before the sowing season and the repairs are carried out.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
Rear harrow
The rear harrow is best suitable for soil qualities that are susceptible to siltation and incrustration.
The tines of the rear harrow sort the soil so that the fine soil which gets filled with silt falls down and
the more durable clods stay on the surface. The rear harrow is equipped with a step.
Press wheels
TUME-seed drills can be equipped with broad rubber roller wheels which do not accumulate soil and
which can be used for a long time. If it is not necessary to roll the field by using conventional methods,
e.g. due to stones, the rolling can be carried out with rubber press wheels in connection with sowing.
Long- term studies have shown a yield increase of some percent with rolling on spring grain, if the
rolling is done immediately after sowing. The press wheels attached to drills give at least as big yield
increase as conventional rollers. The press wheels are equipped with a step level.
Control device
TUME-drills can be equipped with electronic control devices that give both sound and light signals
when the hopper is empty or when there are disturbances in the power transmission. The device
makes sowing faster and safer.
Tramlining kit
By means of the tramlining kit the lines intended for spraying and fertilizing can be left unsown in
connection with sowing. TUME-tramlining kit is electronically controlled. It has large range of choices
for tramline distances. The device stops the feeding rollers at the tractor tracks. Thus it functions
well with small seeds, as well. The feeding is cut out immediately. The tramlining kit has also the
electronic control function included (hopper, rotation).
Agitators
The seed hopper can be equipped with an agitator. The agitator can be necessary when e.g. sowing
arching pulverized products.
Grass seed box
TUME-drills can be equipped with grass seed boxes which sow, except for all kinds of grass seeds,
e.g. different trace nutrients and their mixtures in connection with sowing.
