Aspen Mode
6.1.1.
Aspen Mode Description
The Aspen heading bug / GPSS pass through mode is a
means of interfacing the Aspen to the autopilot. In this mode, the
GPSS hotkey on the Aspen causes the Aspen to switch between
output of the heading bug command and a pass through of the lateral
GPS Steering signal. When the Aspen is connected to the autopilot,
setting the barometer on the Aspen will automatically set the
barometer on the autopilot. If there is a GPS connected in addition to
the Aspen, there will be a switch to select which source (Aspen or
GPS) is feeding the autopilot.
