XVII.  VOX (Voice Operated Transmission),

continued

           VOX Sensitivity Level Selection

5. To continue with other programming functions,

press the MODE button to advance through

the programming mode or press P-T-T or the

WX / SCAN button to save the selected VOX

operation and sensitivity settings and return to

receive mode.

XVIII.  Carrier Lockout

The MURS-25 provides the ability to set the radio to

receive only or carrier lockout for monitoring purposes.

When active, this function prohibits transmissions from

the radio.

Turn the carrier lockout on or off by using these steps:

1. With the radio powered on, press the MODE button

nine times or until you see the CL indicator

flashing and the current carrier lockout on / off

setting.
