9 Removal
9.1
Disconnecting the camera from the USB port
If your camera is connected as a removable disk (USB Mass Storage Device), then
an ‘Unplug or Eject Hardware’ icon will also appear in the Windows taskbar. This can
be used to safety disconnect the camera from the USB port if you no longer wish to
use the camera to take photographs. Follow the instructions given below to do this.
1.
Double-click on the ‘Unplug or Eject Hardware’ icon in the Windows taskbar.
The ‘Unplug or Eject Hardware’ menu will appear (see figure 13).
2.
Select ‘USB Disk’ from the list and click on the ‘Stop’ button (see figure 13).
3.
Click on ‘OK’ to confirm that you wish to stop using the USB Disk (Clear View
II) (see figure 14).
4.
Click on 'OK' again. You can now disconnect the camera from your
computer’s USB port (see figure 15).
9.2
Removing the driver
Follow the instructions below if you wish to remove the driver for the Trust 820 LCD
PowerC@m Zoom from your computer.
1.
Click on 'Start - Settings – Control Panel’ and double-click on the
‘Add/Remove Programs’ icon.
2.
Select the ‘Digital Camera’ from the list and click on ’Add/Remove’.
3.
Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the camera from your computer.
4.
Remove the camera’s USB plug from the USB port on your computer.
5.
Restart your computer.
