Using the camera
3.1
Inserting the batteries
1.
Open the camera’s battery compartment.
2.
Insert the batteries into the camera as indicated in the battery compartment.
3.
Close the battery cover.

:
Inserting the batteries incorrectly will cause damage.
Note

Only replace the batteries with the same type of alkaline or
rechargeable NiMH batteries (two AAA batteries).

:
All the photographs in the camera’s memory are deleted when the
batteries are replaced.
3.2 Camera
functions
Table 1 contains a description of the camera’s functions. Use table 1 in combination
with figure 1.

Stand
The camera is placed in this when using the
webcam function.

Exposure button
Saves the image in the camera’s memory.

Lens
Records the image to be taken.

Clip
This can be used to clip the camera to your
clothing.

Trouser clip
This can be used to clip the camera to your belt.

Viewfinder
Use this to view the subject.

Menu button
This can be used to turn the camera on and
scroll through the menu.

LCD screen
See chapter 3.3 for a description of the
functions available using the LCD screen.

Digital output
Connection for the USB cable.

LCD screen functions
Table 2 contains a description of the functions available on the LCD screen.

Function
Delete
This function can be used to delete the
photographs from the camera’s memory.
Repeat mode
This function allows you to take a number
of photographs quickly one after the other.
High resolution
352 x 288 (24-bit colour).
Low resolution
176 x 144 (24-bit colour).
Automatic
exposure
This function turns on the automatic
exposure.
