Maintenance
Cleaning
• Clean the blower after each use. It will be kept in good
conditions and will lengthen its useful life.
• To clean, Use a piece of cloth with warm water and a
soft brush.
• After each use, disassemble all the parts from the tool
are remove all the particles. Pay special attention to the
inner ventilator driver.
• Clean perfectly the blower ventilation to free them from
any obstruction.
• It is necessary to replace worn carbon brushes (burnt,
broken or smaller than 0.19” long) with new carbon
brushes.
• When replacing carbon brushes always replace both.
• Remove the worn carbon brushes from the carbon
brush holder and remove with compressed air the dust
accumulated.
• Set the new carbon brushes reversing the order. The
carbon brushes should fall in the carbon brush holder
easily.
• After setting the new carbon brushes, allow the tool to
run unloaded a couple of minutes to better adjusting the
carbon brushes.
• Use only spare carbon brushes
designed specifically with the hardness and electric
resistance adequate for each type of motor. Carbon
brushes that are out of specification may damage the
motor.
Carbon Brush Replacement
• Any type of repairs or maintenance shall be carried out
in a Authorized Service Center.
Maintenance
• After the machine is worm out, the materials such as
packaging, damaged parts or the tool shall not be
handled like garbage. Take those materials to a recycling
facility to be trated according to the environment
standards.
Environment Protection
Storage
• Clean the tool before storing to prevent mildew.
• Store the blower in a dry and lukewarm place, away
from sun light (preferably dark) and away from the reach
of children.
• Avoid storing the blower in plastic bags, otherwise the
humidity generated could damage it.
• Keep the tool away from corrosive agents like chemical
substances and anti-freeze salts..
