12 - ELECTRICAL WIRING
Your
ON-E
is an electric bike, and features a considerable number of electrical com-
ponents and wiring. All must be protected from water and dirt! The components are
listed below:
Controller:
This electronic element, is the brain of the drive system.
It is powered by the battery and responds to the position of the gas fist. It is turned
on and off by means of a switch On /Off or kill switch.
The controller incorporates a comunication port with the computer with the func-
tionality to configure and calibrate the parameters of the motorcycle. This communi-
cation port is located under the seat. Manipulation by the user is strictly prohibited.
The controller is factory configured and calibrated.

Throttle:
This sends an electronic signal to the controller, wich is then interpreted
to determinate the power required. The throttle contains a small circuit board
that can be damaged by water. Similarly, the connection between the throttle and
controller must be protected from water at all times. It must be protected from
water.
Ensure that the throttle gas is in the correct
position. For user safety it is important that
the gas control works freely when turned to
accelerate and check that it is not blocked.
In case you have to do some repair you have
to leave a distance between the end of the
handlebar and 1.5 mm gas knob.
Motor:
The motor is the end of the line where the power is actually delivered.
The motor is made up of many components. Any servicing must be carried out
by trained technicians only. Please do not attempt to separate or dismantle the
motor in any way.
Batería:
This element contains the energy to move the motorcycle. The battery is
48V. therefore, a cautious and responsible use is recommended.
Relé:
The relay is responsible for activating and desactivating the battery of the
controller, remotely through theswitch on /off or kill switch.
The relay contains contacts that can cause short circuits if mishandled.
There are other components that confer the electrical wire, such as: ON / OFF
switch, charging connector, dial adjustment and wiring.
