The user is obliged to return the used product and batteries to the collector of waste electrical and
electronic equipment who creates a system of collection for such waste - including an appropriate
store, local collection point or municipal entity. Waste equipment and batteries can have a detrimental
effect on the environment and human health due to
the potential content of hazardous substances, mixtures and components.
Households play an important role in contributing to the reuse and recovery of secondary raw
materials, including recycling of any waste equipment. At this stage attitudes are created that affect
protection of a clean environment, which is a common good. Households are also one of the major
users of small equipment and rational management of such equipment at this stage affects the recovery
of secondary raw materials. In the event of improper disposal of this product, penalties may be
imposed in accordance with the national legislation.
