• Make sure that no curtains or other objects interfere with
the air flow.
• Make sure that the device cannot come into contact with
moisture or water.
Adjusting the stand position
Please proceed as follows to adjust the stand position of the
device:
1. If necessary, switch off the device by proceeding as
described in the chapter "Operation" in the "Shutdown"
section.
2. Loosen the setting wheels ( 6 ) on both sides of the device
by turning in counter-clockwise direction.
3. Turn the device to the desired position.
4. Lock the new position of the device by turning the setting
wheels ( 6 ) on both sides of the device in clockwise
direction.
Connecting the power cable
• Insert the mains plug into a properly fused mains socket.
• Make sure that the power cable is guided along the back
of the device. Never guide the power cable along the front
of the device!

Switching the device on
Once you have completely installed the device as described in
the chapter Assembly and start-up, you can switch it on.
Setting the heating level
1. Set the selection switch ventilation and heating levels ( 7 )
to the desired heating level.
Setting the room thermostat
1. Turn the room thermostat's infinitely variable rotary switch
temperature ( 2 ) to the desired temperature range.

The adjustable temperature range is between 0 °C (MIN)
and 85 °C (MAX).
The room thermostat controls the room temperature
automatically:
• As soon as the desired room temperature has been
reached, slowly turn the rotary switch
temperature ( 2 ) to
counter-clockwise direction until the rotary switch locks in
place.
• When the set value is exceeded, the electric heater
switches off.
• When the set value is fallen below, the electric heater
automatically switches back on.
