4. Disconnect the USB charging cable (13) from the device

be observed when charging an external device.

Warning of electrical voltage
Never touch the batteries in the battery
compartment (6) with wet or damp hands.
•
Switch the device off.
•
Remove the batteries from the battery compartment (6).
•
If required, allow the device to cool down.
•
Clean the device according to the Maintenance chapter.
•
Store the device according to the Storage chapter.

1. Switch the device off.
2. Disconnect the USB charging cable (13).
3. If required, allow the device to cool down.
4. Clean the device according to the Maintenance chapter.
5. Store the device according to the Storage chapter.
Errors and faults
The device has been checked for proper functioning several
times during production. If malfunctions occur nonetheless,
check the device according to the following list.
Troubleshooting tasks which require the housing to be opened
must only be carried out by an authorized specialist electrical
company or by Trotec.
The battery does not charge:
•
Check if the USB charging cable is plugged in properly into
both the charger and the device.
Check if the USB charging cable is properly connected to
both the contacts of the charger and the device

for damages. Do not use the damaged device
anymore if you detect any damages. Contact the Trotec
customer service.
•
Check the fuse (home).
Note
The integrated battery might possibly be defective.
Contact the Trotec customer service.
The device is not lit:
•
The batteries might possibly be empty. Replace them with
new batteries.
•
The battery power might be too low. Charge the battery via
the USB charging cable and a charger.
•
On the battery indication (4 blue LEDs), you can check
whether the battery has been completely charged.
•
Check the USB charging cable for damages. If the USB
charging cable is damaged, stop using it. Contact the
Trotec customer service.
Note
The LEDs are possibly damaged. Contact the Trotec
customer service.
Note
Wait for at least 3 minutes after maintenance and
repair work. Only then switch the device back on.
Your device still does not operate correctly after these
checks?
Please contact the customer service. If necessary, bring the
device to an authorized specialist electrical company or to
Trotec for repair.

Hold onto the mains plug while pulling the power cable of
the charger out of the mains socket.
•
Disconnect the USB charging cable.
•
Allow the device to cool down completely.
