2. If you want to continue working, first position the front
base plate and, while advancing, bring the rear base plate
into contact with the workpiece. The lift-off device (

Switching the device on and off
Wear your personal protective equipment when working with
the device.
1. Check whether the set cutting depth is suitable for the
intended application.
2. Check whether the workpiece is secured and the worktop
prepared correspondingly.
3. Position the front base plate on the workpiece.
4. Press the start lock (

) to be able to actuate the on/off
switch.
5. Press the on/off switch (

) and hold it during operation.

6. Slowly guide the device along the workpiece while
applying slight, even pressure.
7. Let go of the on/off switch (

) to switch the device off.
Please note that the cutting head continues running for a
while.

8. Make sure that the lift-off device (

) folds down when the
device is lifted, and put the device down safely.

Chamfering edges
You can use the V grooves at the front base plate to chamfer
edges. These grooves determine the width of the chamfer and
additionally serve as a guide.
