Retracting the heating blades of the IR 2005 SC and
IRS 2005
Warning of hot surface
The protective grid (

) heats up during operation and
can still be hot after switch-off.
Do not touch the protective grid (
1
) during operation,
wait until it has cooled down after switch-off.
Warning of hot surface
The heating blades can get very hot and cause burns
or damage on the device.
Allow the device to cool down before retracting it.
Please proceed as follows to retract the heating blades:
1. Press the outside edge of a heating blade slightly upwards
with one hand while compressing the spring bolt (

) on the
inside of the blade with the other hand.
2. The heating blade disengages from the catch.
3. Fold the heating blades downwards.

4. Repeat the retraction process on the other heating blades.
Installation
When installing the device, observe the minimum distances
from walls and other objects as described in the Technical data
chapter.
Warning
Risk of fire due to improper installation!
There is a risk of fire if the required minimum
distances are not observed.
Observe the “Installation” section in the “Assembly and
start-up” chapter and the technical data in the
“Technical annex” chapter.

Never install the device in a way that it radiates directly
onto walls or other objects. Observe the minimum
distances from walls or other objects according to the
Technical data chapter.

Only install the device in a horizontal position.
•
Set the device up in an upright and stable position.
•
Do not position the device directly below a wall socket.
•
Make sure that the device cannot come into contact with
moisture or water.
