3.5 Connecting in Hazardous
Areas
Certifi ed Intrinsically Safe for use in mining
hazardous areas, category M1, when used
with approved monitoring apparatus.
Power for the sensor must be derived from an
approved 12 V dc power supply e.g. TX6642
Intrinsically Safe Power Supply or approved
apparatus.
The installation must be in accordance with
the Sentro certifi cation parameters.
