Serial Port Pattern Match Alert

– This alert will be triggered if a regular expression is found in

the serial ports character stream that matches the regular expression you enter in the

Pattern

field. This alert type will only be applied serial ports

UPS Power Status Alert

- This alert will be triggered when the UPS power status changes

between On Line, On Battery, and Low Battery. This alert type will only be applied to UPS’s.

Environment and power alert

- Refer to next section for details on selecting and configuring this

alert type

This alert type will be applied to any UPS’s, RPC’s and EMD temperature and humidity sensors you have
nominated.
