2. Hold the handle and lift up. The case is now
ready for removal.
3. To remove the bottom case, unscrew the four
screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
C a u t i o n :
A high voltage ( 2 0 0 0 V ) is present at the C R T
socket and the lower printed circuit board.
Before removing the case, be sure to turn off
the power, and do not touch these parts with
your hand or a screwdriver even after the
case has been removed.

A C Voltage selector:
The oscilloscope may be operated from 100V,
117V, 2 2 0 V , 2 4 0 V , putting the A C voltage selector
in place of another. (Refer to Fig. 4 2 )

A D J U S T M E N T
Observe t h e following before making ad-
justments:
The oscilloscope is factory adjusted prior to ship-
ment. If readjustment becomes necessary, the
following points should be observed.
1. Check the power supply is the correct voltage.
2. For adjustments, use a well insulated screw-
driver.
3. Before marking adjustments, be sure to turn on
the power and wait until the unit is stabilized.
4. For a d j u s t m e n t f o l l o w the p r o c e d u r e s
described below.
5. If special test instruments are required for ad-
justments, contact your local Trio's service
station.
— 1 0 V Adjustment:
Turn V R 4 0 1 so that

10V is obtained on the No.
3 pin of the power circuit board connector P 4 0 3 .
Blanking Voltage A d j u s t m e n t
1. Pull the P U L L A U T O knob to display a trace on
CRT.
2. Adjust V R 4 0 3 so that the trace disappears at
9-11 o'clock position of the I N T E N S I T Y knob.
A S T I G A d j u s t m e n t
Adjust V R 4 0 4 on the cabinet bottom until the
waveform line offers the same thickness. This ad-
justment should be made in conjunction with the
F O C U S knob.
C R T Bright Line A n g l e A d j u s t m e n t
Adjust the T R A C E ROTATION (front panel) until
the trace is aligned with the horizontal line marked
on the C R T scale.
C R T Centering A d j u s t m e n t
1. Short the terminals of the vertical circuit board
connector P 1 0 4 .
2. With horizontal line displayed, adjust V R 1 0 7
so that the trace comes to the vertical center
position.
