POWER SOURCES
AC POWER
Please check carefully the rated voltage of your appliance matches
your local voltage.
Plug the AC cord into the standard household electrical socket.
BATTERY BACKUP
The clock and alarm settings can be protected against AC power failure by
2 “AA” battery (not included).
In the event of a power failure, the display is blank, the clock will continue to
operate and the actual time will be maintained. The Clock LCD display and
other functions will resume once electrical power is restored.
1. Remove the cover of the battery compartment (Located at the bottom
of the unit).
2. Connect 2 “AA” battery to the battery terminal inside the compartment.
3. Please connected battery into the compartment and replace the cover.
NOTE:
- Alarm, Radio and Display do not work on battery
- Remove the battery if the unit is not to be used for a long period of time.
SETTING TIME AND DATE
1. Press & hold SET button for around 2 seconds until the display flash
and entered the year setting.
2. Press SCAN+ or SCAN- until the correct year appears in the display.
3. Press SET to confirm
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the month, day and time.
Notes
After setting the minute the clock starts from 0 seconds. But if you do not
set “Minute”, the clock does not start from 0 second
12/24 HOUR MODE SELECTION
This product has 12-hour or 24-hour modes of display.
During the clock and date mode, press 12/24 HOUR button to switch the
time display in 12 / 24 hour mode.
If the product is set to 12-hour mode, the PM LCD segment will be lighted
in the afternoon.
Notes
12-hour system: “AM 12:00” = midnight
24-hour system: “0:00” = midnight
RADIO OPERATION
1. Press the MODE button to turn to radio mode.
2. Adjust the volume using VOL + or VOL-
3. Use SCAN+ or SCAN- to tune into the desired station. Press and hold
the button for auto forward or backward radio station searching
4. To turn off the radio, press MODE button for around 2 seconds.
Notes
For the best FM reception, extend the FM wire antenna to its full length and
vary the direction to capture the strongest signal. Do not connect the FM
wire antenna to an outdoor antenna.
PRESETTING YOUR FAVOURITE RADIO STATION
Up to 10 radio stations in FM could be preset.
1. Follow steps in “Operating the Radio” and manually tune into the station
that you wish to preset.
2. Press and hold MEMO button for around 2 seconds, the “MEM” icon is
flashing on display then press the MEMO button again for registration
(User can also press SCAN+ or SCAN– to set the preset station number).
After the preset has finished, the preset number will appear on the display.
3. To preset another station, repeat these steps.
4. To change the preset station, tune into the desired station and press the
MEMO button for around 2 seconds, the “MEM” icon is flashing then
press SCAN+ or SCAN– to select the preset radio number user want to
replace. Press the MEMO button again for registration, the new station
will replace the previous station
5. To hear the preset radio station, press the CH + button once for the next
preset stations in cycle.
SETTING DUAL ALARMS FUNCTIONS
To set up Alarm 1 (or Alarm 2),
1. Press AL1 (or AL2) button to enter the alarm mode or for checking the
alarm status. If user does not begin setting or does not press any button
during the alarm setting within 5 seconds, the system will back to the
Clock mode automatically.
2. Alarm sound defaulted as Buzzer. During the alarm setting, user can
press the MODE button to select the alarm sound (Buzzer or Radio or
USB)
3. To set the alarm hour, press SCAN+ or SCAN- button until the desired
hour is reached.
4. Press AL1 (or AL2) to confirm
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 to set the desired minute is reached.
TO ACTIVATE/ DISABLE THE ALARM
Before or after setting the alarm time, follow these steps:
To activate the ALARM 1 (or ALARM 2), press and hold AL1 (or AL2) button
for around 2 seconds the related alarm icon appears. To disable the alarm
press and hold the button for around 2 seconds the icon will disappear
SNOOZE SETTING
The snooze function can be used to stop the alarm temporarily for about 9
minutes once the alarm is activated. When the snooze button is pressed,
the buzzer or radio or USB alarm sounds will stop and will sound again
after about 9 minutes.
SLEEP TIMER
The sleep function allows to play in blocks of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 70, 80
or 90 minutes before shutting off automatically.
When in the Radio or USB mode, press the SLEEP button repeatedly until
the desired preset time appears on the display (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30,
20 or 10 minutes). Every push changes the display as follows:
User can also tune off the unit by press & hold the MODE button
LCD BACKLIGHT / ILLUMINATE LIGHT
When it is not in the wake up time, the SNOOZE/LIGTH button is for tuning
on the LCB Backlight & Illuminate Light.
- Press once for the light ON for 60 seconds
- Press and Hold for the lights always ON. LCD backlight will flash once
for indication. Press & hold again until the LCD flash once then release to
disabling this function
