Switching on: Press switch-on safety lock (3) and On/Off switch (4) simultaneously.
Switching off: Release On-Off switch (4).
Planing
1. Place the workpiece on a level surface and clamp it in such that slipping is not possible.
2. To set the depth of cut - see Fig.6
3. To achieve a high-quality surface finish work at a low speed and apply pressure
centrally to the sole of the plane.
4. When processing hard materials and when utilising the entire width of the plane, only
work with a low cutting depth and reduced speed.
5. The parking shoe (11) enables the continuation of an interrupted planing process at any
position on the workpiece:
6. Put the device with the parking shoe (11) folded down into the position on the workpiece
where you want to continue processing.
Switch on the device.
7. Now exercise the contact pressure on the front planing sole and carefully guide the
device forwards.
8. The parking show swivels up, such that the rear part of the plane sole is now positioned
on the workpiece again.
9. Guide the device over the surface to be processed at an even speed.
Chamfer the edges
The V-groove (15) in the front sole of the plane enables the chamfering of workpiece edges.
Position the device with the V-groove on the edge of the workpiece and it guide along this
edge (Fot.9).

Set the plane depth
Switch on the device and guide it such that the parallel stop is exactly positioned against the
workpiece. When the folding depth stop contacts the workpiece, the set rebate depth has
been reached.
Use as a smoothing plane (Fot.11-13)
1. Construct the underframe as shown using carriage bolts (24) and hexagonal nuts.
