Storing/Parking the CHALLENGER550
After finishing operation or during extended breaks from operation with absence of the operator,
always secure the CHALLENGER550 against unauthorized use and store it in its intended parking
position.
Requirements
The following points must be fulfilled before parking/storing the CHALLENGER550:
•
The CHALLENGER550 is now in the parking position.
•
Ground surface at the parking position is clean and level.
•
Engine is running.
•
Parking brake is engaged.
•
No objects are in the danger area.
•
No persons are in the danger area.
Turning off the engine
Unauthorized use!
If unauthorized persons operate the CHALLENGER550, then persons may be run over.
Unauthorized use of the CHALLENGER550 can cause serious injury or death.
Ensure that the CHALLENGER550 is protected from unauthorized use.
Engine damage!
Turning off the engine too early can cause heat to build up and damage the engine.
Do not turn the engine off immediately when you have just subjected the CHALLENGER550
to high loads.
Run the engine at idle speed for a few more minutes with the transmission in neutral.
